Mary Lipford Obituary
Ms. Mary Jane Lipford, “Mary Cool”, 71 of Ferguson, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at her home.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Lipford Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Terry Hunt officiating.
Ms. Lipford was born on February 7, 1952 to the late Bud Landon and Ola Etoy Ferguson Lipford. She was a seamstress at Golden Needles for many years and retired from Bemis in Lenoir. Her passion was gardening, shopping, and decorating her home for Christmas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bud Clifford “Jimmy” Lipford; three sisters, Betty Lipford Dula, Carolyn Lipford Davis, and Annie Mae Lipford.
She is survived by two sisters, Juliette Webster of Ferguson and Linda Wilson, of Lenoir; two brothers, Carl E. Lipford of Taylorsville and Tommy Lipford (Paula) of Lenoir; and a host of nieces and nephews.
