Mrs. Mary Ellen Tedder Blevins, age 82 of North Wilkesboro passed away Thursday, November 16,2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2023, at Cricket Baptist Church with Pastor Randall Millsaps, Pastor Joe Farmer, and Pastor Richard Blevins officiating.   The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.                    

Mary was born September 22,1941 in Wilkes County to Roscoe Wake and Elsie Wagoner Tedder.  She was a member of Cricket Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert G. Blevins; one son, Bill Blevins; and one grandson, Nathan Teague.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha B. McNeill and husband Joe, Debbie B. Ashley and husband Jonathan all of North Wilkesboro; one son; Donnie Blevins and wife Audrey of Purlear; eight grandchildren, Christina Parker (Jason), Brandon McNeill (Beth), Ashley Sturgill, Beth Austin (Charles), Alexis Blevins, Bentley Blevins, Tyler Blevins, Tyler Ashley; two sisters, Bobbie Royal, Betty “Sue” Smith and husband Eddie, all of North Wilkesboro; three brothers, LuVern Tedder and wife Mary Lou of North Wilkesboro, Jasper Tedder and wife Patty of North Wilkesboro, Leonard Tedder, of Purlear; and many great grandchildren which she dearly loved; and one daughter-in-law, Gail Blevins of Wilkesboro.
