Martha Sue Bauguess

Martha Sue Bauguess, age 83 of North Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tharpe officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.

She was born on September 19, 1941, in Wilkes County to James Leonard and Lessie Adams Bauguess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde Adams, Don Adams, Turne Bauguess and Muncie Bauguess; sister-in-law, Dean Adams; and brother-in-law, Joel Soots Sr.

She is survived by sister, Rosa Lee Adams Soots of North Wilkesboro, sister-in-law, Mabel Adams; one niece and nine nephews.
