Mark Anthony Johnson

Mr. Mark Anthony Johnson, age 49 of Wilkesboro passed away January 25, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Bible Way Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Johnson and Rev. Paul Siceloff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mark was born January 28, 1973, in Wilkes County to Lewis Junior and Sarah Treadaway Johnson. Mark was a kind and gentle soul. He was loved by all who knew him. Mark was a faithful man who loved his family and friends fiercely. Mark worked as a network engineer for UNC Health Care. Mark attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ferguson.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mack and Syble Treadaway and Ben and Nora Johnson.

Mark is survived by his wife Kimberly and daughter Emma Johnson of the home; brothers; Lewis and wife Lorie Johnson of North Wilkesboro, Michael, and wife Cara Johnson of Wilkesboro; nieces and nephews; William Johnson, Kacee Johnson, Evan Johnson, Eli Johnson, Ean Johnson, Kourtney Whitley, Jeremiah Johnson and Levi Johnson; In laws; Phil and Noi Everson; brother-in-law; Phillip and wife Hannah Everson.
