Mrs. Margie Ann Barnette Pitts, age 77 of Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Westwood Hills Nursing & Rehab.

Margie was born March 6, 1944 in Louisiana to Pauline Barnette.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Margie is survived by one daughter, Linda Beard and Husband Donald of Hiddenite; one son, Ronald Pitts of Wilkesboro; three grandchildren, Cheri Ann Johnson of Lakeland, FL, Bryan Beard and Randy Beard of Hiddenite and five great-grandchildren Miranda, Marley, Ayla, Vrun and Venna.
