Mrs. Margie Louise Carroll Pierce, age 87 of Hays passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Dehart Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Hall and Rev. Bruce Rhoades officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Margie was born in Wilkes County on August 4, 1936 to Verl Amos and Ruby Blankenship Carroll.  She was a faithful member of Dehart Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Bobby Dean Pierce, two sisters; Velma Jennings, Glenda Miller and a brother; Bud Carroll. 

She is survived by a daughter; Diane Brown and husband Charlie of Hays, three sons; Keith Pierce of Hays, Tony Pierce and wife Jane of Wilkesboro, Tim Pierce and wife Traci of Hays, seven grandchildren; Jamie Holloway and wife Melissa, Alicia Anderson and husband Justin, Sabrina Lever and husband Jay, Natasha Woodring and husband Ryan, Derek Pierce and wife Megan, Ashley Lockhart, Eric Pierce and wife Tiffany and many great grandchildren, a sister; Dean Owens of Hays and a brother; Ricky Carroll of Mocksville and long-time special friend; Ed Johnson. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
