Margaret Templeton Adams

Mrs. Margaret Templeton Adams, age 85 of Purlear passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church in Purlear with Rev. Tom Vannoy officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. 

Margaret was born November 15, 1939, in Iredell County to Henry Boss and Lottie Leola Peacock Templeton.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Dean Adams, a son; Johnny Adams and a sister; Emily Templeton Williams. 

She is survived by a daughter; Jodi Lynn Adams Lewis (James) of Purlear, four grandchildren; Bradley Lewis, Jessica Adams, Brianna Lewis, Coty Adams and a sister; Daphne Templeton Johnson of Wilkesboro.
