Mr. Lowell Anthony White, age 67 of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Wilkesboro Church of Christ with Dennis Conner and Craig Phillips officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM prior to the service at the church. 

Lowell was born April 20, 1955 in Hollywood, Florida to Alvin Eual and Luvena Jerlene Wilkins White.   In his 40 years of ministry, he served as Pulpit Minister in Farmville, VA and Charlotte, NC and Wilkesboro Church of Christ in NC until he retired in May 2022.  He had lived and worked as a missionary in Argentina, Nigeria and Honduras.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Renee Walker and her husband, Ronnie Walker; and one brother, Wendell White.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Lynn Moore White, of the home; two daughters, Janna Herndon and husband Michael of Scottville, MI and Jessi DeFoor and husband Ben of Murfreesboro, TN; and two sons, Jared White of Indianapolis, IN and Jacob White and wife Paige of Little Rock, AR; six grandchildren, Emily Herndon, Madelyn Herndon, Lilian Herndon, River Herndon, Huckston DeFoor, and Evalyn DeFoor; and two sisters, Teresa White of Cullman, AL, and Ann White of Addison, AL.
