Mrs. Lolene Swaim Payne Stinson, age 91 of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday April 18, 2024, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Lloyd William Payne, Sr. officiating.  Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Lolene was born February 18, 1933, in Wilkes County to John and Lela Brown Swaim.  She was a member of Cricket Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; George Gilbert Stinson, granddaughter; Misty Faw, a sister; Ethel Higgins and two brothers; Clay and Bud Swaim. 

She is survived by two daughters; Barbara Chapman and friend David of Elberton, GA, Brenda Cardwell and husband Robert of Wilkesboro, two sons; Rev. Lloyd Payne, Sr. and wife Geraldine of Hays, Floyd Jr. Payne and wife Helen of North Wilkesboro, grandchildren; Cindy Wilson, Susan Sprinkle and husband Chad, Lloyd Payne, Jr. and wife Beth, Larry Payne and wife Brittany, Steven Cardwell and wife Sosandra, Jessica McNeil and husband Michael, Janet Vannoy and husband Matthew, Erin Vaughn, Carl Chapman, great grandchildren; Seth Wilson, Connor Sprinkle, Halah Sprinkle, Mathan Sprinkle, Ella Payne, Liam Payne, Raelynn Tetters, Madelyn Stanley, Colton Vaughn, Easton Vaughn, Tyler Cardwell, Breanna Cardwell, Joseph Cardwell, Houston Faw, Dawson Faw, Dakota Faw, Cameron McNeil, Kailey McNeil, Noah McNeil, Brooke Jennings, Eden Vannoy and two sisters: Etta Mae Johnson of North Wilkesboro and Lula Belle Steele and husband Raymond of Hiddenite.
