Ms. Lois Ann Blackburn Triplett, age 62 of Boomer went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 2, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center.

The viewing will be held Saturday November 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Sunday November 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Reins- Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Jones and Pastor Greg Hall followed by a graveside service at Scenic Memorial Gardens.

Lois Ann was born April 26, 1961 to Thelma Mae Blackburn and John Howard Blackburn. Lois Ann served as a bus driver for the Wilkes County School system for 29 years. Lois Ann was a devout Christian and member of Boomer Advent Christian Church. In her younger days Lois Ann was an avid athlete and went on to support her children and many other children in the community through various sporting events.

Lois Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by 2 children, Lacey Ann Triplett of Boomer NC, Dustin Ray Triplett and wife Alyssa Triplett of Purlear NC, and 3 grandchildren Scarlett & Emery Triplett and Alec Triplett due June 2024, one brother Smith Blackburn and wife Angie Blackburn of Charleston SC.

A woman of immense warmth and kindness, Lois Ann, touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her enduring love, wisdom, and nurturing spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family and community.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to be placed in a scholarship fund for Wilkes Central High School in honor of Lois Ann, donations can be mailed to 3534 Old Hwy 60, Purlear NC 28665.
