Mrs. Lois Evelyn Johnson Evans, age 84, of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home.

She was born August 25, 1941, in Ashe County to Walter Samuel and Haley Jane Bare Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Evans.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Jordan (Randal) of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Shelby Jordan, David Jordan; great-grandchildren, Cole Jordan and Cora Jordan.
