Obituary
Mr. Lindbergh Hayes, age 91 of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Frye Reginal Medical Center.
Lindbergh was born March 12, 1932, in Wilkes County to Reallie and Marie Loer Hayes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Leonard; five brothers, Willard, Fred, Lee, Ralph, and Jessie. He is survived by Danny, Lisa, Donna and Mark of Wilkes County; two sisters Shelby Craven and Opal Hayes of Cabarrus County; and many friends and acquaintances at Wilkes Senior Center.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Gene Shepherd officiating. Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1142 Honor Guard and United States National Guard will follow. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
