Linda Laws Phillips

Mrs. Linda Laws Phillips, age 73 of Purlear passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Wilkes Health and Rehab. 

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Ryan Penley, Pastor Steve Bufkin, Pastor Darrell Poole and Pastor Mike Stamper officiating.  Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Phillips was born February 8, 1947 in Wilkes County to Clossie and Lavon Spears Laws. She retired as Postmaster of Millers Creek Post Office and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Wayne Gray Phillips and her daughter; Belinda Phillips Laws. 

She is survived by her son-in-law; Rickey Laws of Purlear, an aunt; OnaDea Yates, of Purlear, sister-in-law; Madge Phillips McNiel and husband Bert of Purlear, cousin; Brenda Caudill of Purlear and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
