Linda Rae (Reavis) Myers

Mrs. Linda Reavis Myers, age 74 of Hays passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  

Per Linda’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Pruitt and Rev. Roger Jennings officiating. 

Mrs. Myers was born October 17, 1946 in Wilkes County to Roland and Sally Jarvis Reavis.  She worked for the Wilkes County Clerk of Court before her retirement.  Linda was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Earl “Jackie” Myers, a grandson and several brothers and sisters. 

Linda is survived by a daughter; Janet Pettigrew and husband George of Statesville, two sons; Eric Myers and wife Debbie of Mocksville and Aaron Myers and wife; Melinda of Hays, five grandchildren; Sarah Pettigrew, Olivia Pettigrew, Megan Myers, Cole Myers and Tyler Myers and wife Karissa and a sister; Helen Wray. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to the donor’s choice. 

The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Grote and his staff, the staff at Mountain View Medical Center, along with the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville for their compassionate care of Linda.
