Linda Jean (Wyatt) Herron

Mrs. Linda Wyatt Herron, age 67 of Hays passed away Sunday July 31, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Linda was born November 23, 1954, in Iredell County to Rex Roby and Ruth Lucille Yates Wyatt. She loved to work in her yard and thought of everyone else before herself.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters; Sharon Bullis and Charlotte Pennington.

Linda is survived by her husband of the home; Christopher Theodore “Ted” Herron; one son; Gary Shumate and wife April of Hays; two grandchildren; Cole Shumate and Hunter Shumate; one niece Emily Bullis Sheets of Hays; one sister in law; Jessica Oliver of FL.
