Lillian Shore Gambill

Mrs. Lillian Shore Gambill, age 90 passed away on September 24, 2020. 

Mrs. Gambill was born August 16, 1930 in Alleghany County to James Franklin Shore and Victoria Shore Wendland.  She was a member of Hinshaw St. Baptist Church.  Mrs. Gambill was retired from Ithaca Industries. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Talmadge (Tad) Gambill, a brother Warren Shore and a stepfather Gilbert Wendland. 

She is survived by a son Charles Gambill and his wife Christine of Wilkesboro, a daughter Lisa G. Forehand and husband Ivan of Denver, NC; four grandchildren, Stephen Gambill of Hickory, Devin G. Leonard and husband Justin of Millers Creek, Erica F. Johnson and husband Steven of Mooresville, John Forehand and wife Kathleen of Huntersville; two great grandchildren, Della and Warren Johnson. A private family celebration of life was held.
