Mr. Lane Hayden McGlamery, age 71 of Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Private graveside services with Military Honors by the North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard will be held at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scott Wagoner officiating.
Mr. McGlamery was born November 2, 1949 in Wilkes County to Allie McGlamery and Ruth Whittington. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Lowe’s Companies after 41 years where he worked in IT Network Engineering. He was a member of Wilkesboro Baptist Church for 20 plus years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Marsh and a brother, Norris McGlamery.
He was survived by his wife, Beth McGlamery; a daughter, Marissa Ricketts and husband Adam of Alexandria, VA; a son, Mason McGlamery and wife Brooke of Charlotte; a grandson, Alex Ricketts; a sister, Julene Rash and husband Paul.
