Kevin Hartley

Mr. Douglas “Kevin” Hartley, age 52 of   Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home. 

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Scenic Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Lane Hamby officiating.

Kevin was born April 29, 1969 in Wilkes County to Douglas Franklin and Brenda Hamby Hartley.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father.

Kevin was always active and enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was washing cars, landscaping, working out or spending time in the garage. Kevin was passionate about music and would often attend concerts with friends and family. Kevin was a jack of all trades; he was a skilled upholsterer and enjoyed working on cars.  He would give you the shirt off his back and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Kevin would sacrifice anything for the people he loved.

Kevin is survived by a daughter, Emilee Hartley of Mooresville; two sons, Seth Hartley of Purlear and Aaron Hartley of Wilkesboro; one grandson, Rome Presnell; his mother Brenda Hamby Hartley of Wilkesboro;  one sister, Angie Walsh and husband, Eddie of Boomer; one brother, Jeff Hartley and wife Jennifer of Boomer; and several nieces and nephews.
