Ken Charles Minton

Mr. Ken Charles Minton, age 65 of Moravian Falls, died Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Pruitt Health in Elkin.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Combs officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Minton was born June 21, 1956 in Wilkes County to Floyd Abe and Jeanette Addie Teague Minton.  He enjoyed setting up fish aquariums and playing online fishing games, collecting knives and swords, and loved animals. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Clayton Casstevens.

He is survived by four sisters, Judy Beadenkopf of Moravian Falls, Peggy Absher of Traphill, Bonnie Clonch and husband Arnold of North Wilkesboro, and Nona Hamby and husband Michael of Jonesville; and one brother, Terry Minton and wife Bonnie of Wilkesboro; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
