Mr. James Keith Ball, age 60 of Lewisville passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop John Clinger and Bishop Steve Woodard officiating. Burial will be in the Ball Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Ball was born May 8, 1960 in Wilkes County to James Wesley and Viola Wright Ball. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in North Wilkesboro and in Lewisville.
Keith was involved with multiple charities for children throughout his life, donating time and money to missionary efforts and a member of the Corvette and Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. He was top of his class in the Dale Carnegie Sales Association Club, an active member and leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a High Priest. He served in the Bishopric, High Council and Youth Leadership positions for many years. He volunteered for High School Events as an Emcee and announcer as well as seasonal donor. Keith was generous to friends and family in need, donated limos to Elementary and Middle School for top readers and fund-raising participants. In his day-to-day relationships he was generous and intentional with all those he encountered and had many life long friendships.
He was preceded in death by parents; Wesley and Viola and several beloved furbabies; Molly, Trixie, Tubbs and Wendy.
He is survived by his wife; Lisa Hague Ball of the home, two daughters; Amy Elledge Rigby and husband Dr. Michael Rigby of Greensboro, Erica Ball Rubalcaba and husband Jared James Rubalcaba of Houston, TX, a son; James Adam Ball and wife Misty Durfee Ball of Kannapolis, nine grandchildren; James Aiden Ball, Addison Lea Ball, Brycen Thomas Elledge, Lillyan Elizabeth Elledge, Carolyn Rai Rigby, Turner Reece Rigby, Ward Hamilton Rigby, Wesley Oliver Rubalcaba, Owen Stanley Rubalcaba. He is also survived by innumerable cousins, nephews and nieces and extended family whom he loved, and beloved Maine coon cat; Jess.
