Kathy Rae Goforth

Mrs. Kathy Rae Michael Goforth, age 65 of Ferguson, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Andrews officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Tuesday at Lewis Fork prior to the service. Burial will be in Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery

Kathy was born March 21, 1956 in Wilkes County to Billy Gray and Betty Jo Harrold Michael. She retired from Compu Credit. She was a champion for animals, rescue dogs and cats.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Gary Allan Goforth of the home; three daughters, Nikki Blevins of Wilkesboro, Misty Dawn Cecile and husband, Jason of Wilkesboro, Heather Michelle Welch and husband, Adam of Wilkesboro; several grandchildren, Jayda Kathleen Jarvis, Aidan Cecile and wife Lexi, Lorna Cecile, Corbin Cecile, Roland Cecile, Delyah Heninger, and Bryson Heninger; two great grandchildren, Maddie Cecile and Luci Cecile; and one brother, Tommy F. Michael and wife Denise of Wilkesboro.
