Mrs. Kandi Laverne Parks, age 52 of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.   Burial will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born on November 21, 1972, in Wilkes County to Rev. Floyd Parks Jr. and Ella Ruth Parks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Parks and nephew, Stephen Young.

She is survived by her husband, James Roberts; two daughters, Kanisha Huynh (Louis) of Winston- Salem, Jordan Roberts of Winston-Salem; son, JaShya Roberts of Winston-Salem; grandchild, Aiden Huynh of Winston-Salem; five sisters, Karen Young of Winston-Salem, Melissa Whittington (Kenneth) of Wilkesboro, Lisa Corpening (John) of Wilkesboro, Crystal Banner (Stoney) of Lenoir, Sharon Parks of Lenoir; one brother, Floyd Michael Parks of Statesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
