Kager Alden Brewer, age 50 of North Wilkesboro, a man known for his humor, charm, and many talents, passed peacefully from this life on December 3, 2025, at Baptist Hospital. His loss leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and joy remains deeply rooted in the lives he touched.
Kager was the doting father of Sophia Ann Brewer, the pride of his life, and the beloved son of JoAnn Brewer and the late Doug Brewer. He is survived by his sister, Shelly Brewer Logan (Jim), and was an uncle to his three nephews, Brewer Logan (Katie), Abram Logan (Ashley), and Joah Logan (Courtney), each of whom held a special place in his heart.
A graduate of East Wilkes High School, Kager found his first love on the basketball court, where his competitive fire and natural talent made him unforgettable. Away from athletics, Kager was equally passionate about music and singing, sharing his voice and melodies with those he loved. His friends and family often speak of his generous spirit, how he would give the shirt off his back without hesitation, and how his humor and charm could brighten even the hardest day.
Kager attended Bethel Branch Church of Christ in North Wilkesboro, where he was surrounded by a loving church family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His presence will be deeply missed within those walls. All who knew and loved Kager are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate his life.
