Judy Isabell (Oliver) Miller

Mrs. Judy Oliver Miller, age 70, of Millers Creek passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home. 

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rex Eldreth officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Judy was born October 18, 1954, in Ashe County to Rosco and Willie “Ruth” Stamper Oliver. She was loved by everyone while working at Glenn’s Restaurant for 44 years. Judy had many friends all across the world and cared for everyone. She loved reading and doing crosswords in the company of her cat. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Sebert “Reed” Miller, seven brothers; Joe Oliver, Jack Oliver, Jim Oliver, Jerry Oliver, Jay Oliver, John Oliver, and Jeff Oliver. 

She is survived by her daughter; Tamara Miller Sheets (Tim) of Millers Creek, her son; Justin Reed Miller of Millers Creek, bonus daughter; Debbie Davis of Ashe, bonus son; Brian Keith Miller of Ashe, four grandchildren; Olivia Sheets, Chloe Sheets, Zachary Davis, and Jeremy Davis. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
