Judy Wingler Craven

Mrs. Judy Wingler Craven, age 82 of Millers Creek, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Shannon Critcher and Rev. Jim Gore officiating. 

Judy was born March 24, 1944, in Ashe County to Edison and Daisy Miller Wingler.  She was a member of Millers Creek Baptist Church.  Judy served as secretary at Millers Creek Baptist Church for several years.  Prior to that she was an Administrative Assistant in the Purchasing Department at American-Drew Furniture Company. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Carole Watts, a brother-in-law; Tony Parsons and a sister-in-law; Kate Robinson. 

She is survived by her husband; Jerry Malone Craven of the home, two sisters; Peggy Parsons of Lewisville and Patsy Bumgarner and husband Donnie of Wilkesboro, she is also survived by a sister-in-law; Beth Huie and husband Richard and brothers-in-law; Johnny Ray Craven and Bill Watts and several nieces and nephews. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Millers Creek Baptist Church, PO Box 559, Millers Creek, NC 28651.
