Joyce Elaine (Miller) Dyer

Mrs. Joyce Elaine Miller Dyer, age 71 of Wilkesboro, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at her home.

Private family services will be held at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Shannon Critcher and Mr. John Overby officiating. A public viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday evening and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:00PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.   Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.

Joyce was born April 10, 1950 in Wilkes County to Pressley and Elsie Virginia Ashley Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Miller.

Joyce is survived by one daughter, Julie Dyer Whittington and husband, Brian of Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Weston James Whittington and Ava Virginia Whittington; one niece, Monique Becker; and one nephew, Keith Miller.
