Joseph Carl Brewer

Mr. Joseph Carl “Carlie” Brewer, age 66 of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Bethel Branch Church of Christ with Mr. Steve Johnson, Mr. Zach Johnson and Mr. Graylyn Brewer officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born July 29, 1958, in Wilkes County to Hubert Francis and Helen Louise Campbell Brewer.  He retired from Johnson’s Modern Electric with 40 plus years of service.  He was a lifetime member of Bethel Branch Church of Christ.  He enjoyed playing music, loved old cars and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Brewer and brother-in-law, Kenneth Holland.

He is survived by his wife, Trisha Ann Eller Brewer; two sons, Joseph Brewer of North Wilkesboro and Andrew Brewer (Brittany) of North Wilkesboro; two sisters, Talitha Mills (Jim) of North Wilkesboro and Judy Holland of North Wilkesboro; and sister-in-law, Joann Brewer of North Wilkesboro.
