Johnthan "Bud" Bobby Perry

Mr. Jonathan Bobby Perry, better known as “Bud”, age 78 of Millers Creek, died Friday, June 10, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2022 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Tim Pruitt officiating.  Burial will follow in Royal Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry was born November 12, 1943 in Wilkes County to Ebbie and Laura Royal Perry.  He loved the outdoors, but especially fishing and hunting. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Mae Lane Perry, of the home; one daughter, Wanda Perry, of Millers Creek; one son, Jonathan Perry, better known as “Buddy”, of Millers Creek; three grandchildren, Jonathan Perry and wife, Dasheria, of Purlear, Brent Perry of Millers Creek, and Megan Absher and husband, Jonathan, of Millers Creek; and sister, Emeline Absher and husband, Bill, of North Wilkesboro.
