John Clate Eller, III

Mr. John Clate Eller, III, age 48, of Ferguson passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home. 

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Winebarger officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

John was born June 21, 1977, in Wilkes County to John Clate Eller, Jr. and Kathy Hall Eller-Hamby.  

He addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son; Johnathan Cole Eller and step-father; Larry W. Hamby.. 

He is survived by his mother; Kathy Hamby of Ferguson, a daughter; Jaedyn Reece Eller, a son; John Clate Eller, IV both of North Wilkesboro, three sisters; Kristy Eller Minton (Chris) of Wilkesboro, Amy Eller Anderson (Chester) of Moravian Falls, Angela Hamby Hill (Pat) of North Wilkesboro and a brother; Mark Alan Hamby of Traphill. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church, 120 Casey’s Branch Road, Purlear, NC 28665.
