Joey Farmer Obituary
Mr. Joey Wayne Farmer, age 52 passed away Friday, September 10, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service.
Joey was born June 3, 1969 in Ashe County to Raymond Jackson and Alice Sue Bare Farmer.
Joey was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Ray Farmer.
Joey is survived by one daughter, Linsay Holman of Forest City who was later adopted by Gary Holman; one son, Kenneth Shawn Farmer of North Wilkesboro; four grandchildren, Kenneth Luke Farmer, Zoey Sky Farmer, Zaylee Ray Evans, and Dennis “Sawyer” Raymond Hodge, IV; three sisters, Sandra Kay Phillips and husband, Rodney of McGrady, Deborah Lynn Blackburn and husband, Keith of Roaring River, April Hope Roten and husband, Scott of Roaring River; and several nieces and nephews.
