Jimmy Allen Parsons

Jimmy Allen Parsons, age 78, of North Wilkesboro, NC, passed away peacefully at his long-term home on August 23, 2025. 

Born on December 20, 1946, in Wilkes County, Jimmy was a skilled upholsterer who dedicated his life to craftsmanship and creativity. He took great pride in his work, known for his steady hands, attention to detail, and the artistry he brought to each project. Beyond his trade, Jimmy found joy in simple pleasures — fishing, drawing, golfing, sharing laughter with friends, and cherishing time with his family. His humor, hard work, and unwavering love will be remembered always. 

Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Glenda Kaye Wilson Parsons; his parents, Frances and Ceigle Parsons; and three siblings, Carolyn Parsons Wiles, Larry Parsons, and Jerry Parsons. 

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Joines, who he cherished, and her fiancé, Greg Mathews; his step-son, Brandon Moore; and his step-daughter, Tuesday Moore. Jimmy was a very proud grandfather to Ashlyn Joines and Grayson Joines, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him. 

Known for his kindness, generosity, and the way he could light up a room with a humorous story or a smile, Jimmy was a friend to many and loved by all. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed. 

Per Jimmy’s will and testament, no funeral or memorial service will be conducted.
