Mr. Jerry Lee Shew, age 66 of Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. 

There will be a visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Jerry was born April 17, 1959, in Wilkes County to Dorothy Jean Shew.  He loved to fish. 

He is survived by his mother and step-father; Dorothy Jean Shew Perry and J.C. Perry of Wilkesboro, a daughter; Sherry Lynn Shew of Roaring River, a sister; Emma Perry of Wilkesboro, a niece; Destiny Wyatt, a nephew; Eric Wyatt, II, two great nieces; Kaylyn Wyatt and Rosaleia Wyatt and several aunts and uncles. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
