Jerry Allen Huffman, age 75 of Wilkesboro, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, surrounded by his family at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Luke Pyles, Pastor Fred Staley, Pastor Hugh Hoyle and Pastor Sherry Pyles officiating.  The body will lie in state beginning at 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

On January 27, 1950, Jerry was born in Wilkes County to E.M. and Evelena Huffman. Throughout his life, he remained a dedicated member of Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church, also fulfilling the role of Deacon. Jerry's commitment to his faith and love for his family were unwavering. His professional life was spent as the owner of "Jerry Huffman Sawmill and Logging", a career spanning his entire lifetime.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Eddie Huffman and Terry Huffman Sr., and lifelong friend Rev. Norman Pardue.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years; Linda Forren Huffman of the home, a daughter; Treasa Huffman Edmiston and husband Scott of Moravian Falls, a son; Jeremy Allen Huffman and wife Melissa of Wilkesboro, a granddaughter, Tammie Huffman Watson and Husband Daniel of Ferguson, grandsons; Trevor Huffman, Tucker Huffman both of Wilkesboro and Isaac Edmiston of Moravian Falls; An added grandson Ian Byrd of Moravian Falls; A great-granddaughter, Parker Louise Watson of Ferguson; brothers; Roger  Huffman and wife Sandy of Millers Creek, Danny Huffman and wife Cynthia of Purlear, Everette Huffman and wife Amanda of Hays, Marty Huffman of Cricket, Sisters; Judy Pardue and husband Charles of Boomer, Sharon Griffin and Husband Michael of Moravian Falls, step-mother; Elzina Huffman of Cricket, and several nieces and nephews. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church, 287 Cactus Lane, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 C/O Linda Huffman.
