Mr. Jerry Dean Harrold, age 74, of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Harrold and Rev. Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
He was born on March 17, 1951, in Wilkes County to Gilmore and Ethel Malona Harrold. Jerry was a loving grandfather, outdoorsman, gardener, and a wonderful loving father.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son; Anthony Patrick Harrold, sisters and brothers-in-law; Beulah and George Taylor, Nancy Greer, brothers and sisters-in-law; Jarvis and Verlee Harrold, Walter Harrold, Ralph Harrold, Edd and Pliney Harrold, Wayne Harrold, Roby Harrold, brothers-in-law; Luther Shumate, Larry Foster, Clay Felts and Doug Waller.
He is survived by a son; Steven Andrew Harrold (Sarah) of Wilkesboro, grandchildren; Devon Jacob Harrold, Lucas Anthony Harrold, Alex Scott Harrold, Amber Leann Harrold, Veda Patience Harrold, Aalstyn (Baylee) Stevens, Abram Mathias Harrold, great grandson; Andrew Franklin Harrold, sisters; Edith Felts of Mulberry, Della Shumate of Lincolnton, Betty and Tommy Foster of Hays, Fay Foster of Hays, Ruby Waller of North Wilkesboro, brother and sister-in-law; Wade and Maye Harrold of Wilbar, sisters-in-law; Alene Harrold, Margaret Harrold, Brenda Harrold, and brother-in-law; Stewart Greer.
