It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Paul Sanders, age 40, at the Catawba Valley Medical Center on February 10, 2025. 

He is lovingly mourned and remembered by his wife of 15 years, Jade Herron Sanders; daughter, Mirabelle River, two sons; Ephraim Milo and Arlo Clark, parents; Jacob and Patricia Coffey Sanders of Wilbar, father and mother-in-law; David and Jerolyn Herron of Florence, AL, two brothers; Jacob Douglas Sanders and wife Lesley, and Joshua Clay Sanders both of Wilbar, many special nieces and nephews, a very dear family; Ross and Rachel Meeks and children, and numerous relatives and friends. 

He was predeceased by grandparents; Ivey Clay and Temple Sanders of Lenoir, Maynard and Della Coffey of Lenoir. 

Jeffrey was born October 16, 1984, in Catawba County to Jacob and Patricia Sanders. Despite many health battles, he lived life fully and lovingly with a smile on his face and a bright light in his eyes. Jeffrey was a dreamer who accomplished so many of those dreams in his short life. He was a wonderful son and brother, a world traveler, an outdoorsman, an entrepreneur, a graphic designer, a civil engineer, a gentle warrior, a lover of food, stylish hats, music, and “Dad” jokes, a dedicated friend, and a devoted husband and father. His spirit reflected the love of his Savior Jesus Christ, and his beautiful soul is now resting high on that mountain in Paradise. 

Come honor his memory with us at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. A reception will be held following the service at Wilkesboro Church of Christ. 

In lieu of flowers, the Wilkesboro Church of Christ has set up a fund to support Jeff’s beloved children. Checks may be made to the church and sent to P.O. Box 81, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
