Jeffery Dean Cockerham

Mr. Jeffery Dean Cockerham, age 64 of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Pruitt Health and Rehabilitation in Elkin. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 1, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Jim Gore officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Jeffery was born February 20, 1961, in Wilkes County to James Robert and Mable Miller Cockerham.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Carl Cockerham. 

He is survived by four sisters; Brenda DeWallot of North Wilkesboro, Mary Bare (R.C.), Linda Key (Roger), Marlene Cockerham all of Millers Creek, three brothers; Wesley Miller (Dora) of Millers Creek, Steve Cockerham (Janet Privette) of Wilkesboro and Jerry Cockerham of Millers Creek and several nieces and nephews.
