Jean (Hemric) Jarvis

Mrs. Jean Hemric Jarvis, age 88 of Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Laurelwood.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday April 23, 2022 at Cranberry Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Church officiating. The family will receive after the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Jean was born on April 9, 1934 in Wilkes County to Simon Paul and Beulah Howell Hemric.  She retired from Lowe’s Companies after 20 years of service as an Assistant Manager.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a granddaughter; Andrea Adams.

She is survived by her husband Gray Jarvis of the home; two daughters; Gail Adams of Pfafftown, NC, Denise Jarvis of Boone, NC; one son; Ron Jarvis and wife Stacy of Milton GA; six grandchildren; Derek Dutton, Desiree Dutton Wilson, Clint Jarvis, Nicole Jarvis, Paul Jarvis and Emily Jarvis; three great grandchildren; Ben Wilson, Alex Wilson and Cooper Wilson; four sisters; Jeanette Campbell and Judy Quesinberry of Charlotte, NC, Jenny Byrd of Elkin, NC and Jerry Roberts of Wilkesboro; one brother Johnny Paul Hemric of Winston-Salem.

Flowers will be accepted or donor’s choice.
