Mrs. Leona Jane “Janie” Clonch Triplett, age 65 of Millers Creek passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Celebration of Life services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Kerry Nichols and Rev. Roger Woods officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Leona was born August 13, 1956 in Wilkes County to Paul Eugene and Vecie Pauline Anderson Clonch.  She was a member of Parkway Garden Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for eight years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister:  Hilda Griffin and two brothers; Robert Clonch and Jerry Clonch. 

She is survived by her husband; Doug Triplett of the home, two daughters; Melissa Dimmette of North Wilkesboro, Savannah Triplett of Millers Creek, two sons; Michael Dimmette and wife Hayley of North Wilkesboro, Junior Triplett of Wilkesboro, five grandchildren; Jared Dimmette, Matthew Dimmette, Elizabeth Dimmette, Hannah Absher, Rachel Dimmette, two great grandchildren; Dallas Dimmette, Raegan Dimmette, mother-in-law; Clara T. McNeil of Wilkesboro, three sisters; Pauline Brown, Linda Felts, Rosie Dimmette, five brothers; Ray Clonch, Roger Clonch, Hubert Clonch, Rex Clonch, Jason Clonch and a brother-in-law; Mark Triplett. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkway Garden Baptist Church, 799 Armory Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
