Janet Elizabeth (Johnson) Dillard

Mrs. Janet Elizabeth  Johnson Dillard, age 64 of N. Wilkesboro, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Sampson officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Janet was born January 17, 1957 in Wilkes County to Florence Brown Johnson. She worked many years at Lowes Companies in Aviation and retired from ECMD in Human Resources. She loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother L.E. Johnson and wife Brenda, a brother-in-law David Joines and a nephew Matthew Johnson.

Janet is survived by her husband Billy Dillard of the home, two daughters; Billie Shew of North Wilkesboro and Amanda Dillard of Jefferson, two grandchildren; Jacob Shew and Savannah Shew; one sister, Linda Joines of Wilkesboro, four brothers; Don Johnson and wife Lucille, Robert Johnson, Jerry Johnson and wife Joyce and Bill Johnson and wife Becky all of North Wilkesboro and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
