Jane Brooks Obituary
Mrs. Jane Esther Wingler Minton Brooks, age 71 of Hays passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Middle Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Sturgill officiating.
Jane was born August 18, 1950 in Wilkes County to John Arlien and Elizabeth Mitchell Wingler. Mrs. Brooks retired from Roses after working for over 20 years and then continued her employment with Dixie Mobile Home Services for over 15 years. She was a member of Middle Cross Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers; James and Joseph Wingler.
She is survived by her husband; Roger Brooks of the home, her mother; Elizabeth Mitchell Wingler, three daughters; Deana Swaim , Kaila and Nikki Brooks, six sons; Eddie Minton Jr., Jonathan Russ Minton, Marty Wayne Minton, Jon Brooks, Koby Brooks,Jozef Brooks, two sisters; Judy Broyhill and husband Bobby, Joice Ollison, one brother; Johnny Wingler, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
