James "Jim" A. Blevins

Mr. James A. Blevins, age 71 of Ronda, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ronda with Rev. James Safrit officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born October 28, 1953, in Davidson County, to William Brant and Viola Mae Kelly Blevins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carlotta Grimes and Ann Nance; three brothers-in-law, R.G. Grimes, Troy Nance and Larry Watkins.

He is survived by three sisters, Joyce Greene (Curtis), Pam Blevins and Beth Watkins; two brothers, Wayne Blevins (Donna) and Bill Blevins (Christina); and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3982 Clingman Road, Ronda, NC 28670.   The family has requested no food.
