Mr. James Walter Hill, age 72, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Main Street, North Wilkesboro with Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

James was born June 22, 1952, in Wilkes County to Robert and Pauline Martin Hill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Hill and Robert Hill.

He is survived by his daughter, Constance “Nicole” Hill (Levon George) of Dobson; two sons, Ashley Hill (Yesenia) of Greenville, SC, Chris Hill of North Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren, Nicholas George, Elijay George, Bo George, Christopher Hill, Calique Hill, Major Hill, Grayson Hill, Layla Hill and Graylen Hill; wife, Debbie Hill or Morganton; and three brothers, Paul Hill of Wilkesboro, Joe Hill (Mandy) of Goldsboro, and David Hill (Bert) of Charlotte.
