James Franklin Foster

Mr. James Franklin “Frank” Foster, age 73, of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his home.

No services are to be held at this time.

Mr. Foster was born September 10, 1951, in Wilkes County to Romie Johnson and Molly Mae Church Foster.  He enjoyed driving his truck.  He loved the outdoors but especially the mountains and enjoyed visiting Roten Creek with his dogs, horses, and being in the mountains four-wheeling with his companion Alice in the younger years.  He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his lifetime companion, Alice Rosie Roten Whitley, of the home; one sister, Debbie Foster; three brothers, John Foster and wife Hazel, Bill Foster and wife Penny, and Doug Foster and wife Nancy; and many other family members and friends.
