Mr. James Donald Johnson age 78 of Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Hadley Triplett officiating. Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Johnson was born February 1, 1942 in Wilkes County to Neff and Mabel Hall Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Billings Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Chantel Brooks and husband Randy of Wilkesboro; a son, Brandon Johnson and wife Elaine of North Wilkesboro; a brother, Claude Johnson and wife Reba of North Wilkesboro; Four grandchildren, Lucas Brooks, Faith Brooks, Jonah Brooks, Noel Henderson and husband, Dylan; and his best friend, Nancy Bumgarner.
