Mr. James Roger Absher, age 77 of North Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2020 at Cranberry Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Victor Church officiating.
Mr. Absher was born December 21, 1942 in Ashe County to Walter E. and Ada H. Perry Absher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Mitchell Absher, a granddaughter, Christina Renee Royal; a sister Shirley Glass; two brothers, Billy R. Perry, Sr. and Connie D. Perry.
He is survived by five daughters, Rebecca Royal (Jessie) of Ronda, Tiffany Testerman (Teddie) of North Wilkesboro, Barbara Dishman (Jeff) of Jefferson, Jamie Lambe (Larry) of Jefferson, and Breezy McKeithan (Bill) of Asheboro; eight grandchildren, Jessie James Royal Jr., Dameon Testerman, Tyson Testerman, Ash Lambe, Hunter Lambe, JD Wingler, Brandon Dishman, and Danielle Wingler; seven great children, Hayden Royal, Noah Royal, Cayden Maira, Connor Stoltz, Colton Stoltz, Layla Dishman, and Ian Wingler; a brother, Bobby Perry of North Wilkesboro, a special uncle Bud Perry and wife Betty of Millers Creek.
