Irene Roten Miller

Mrs. Irene Roten Miller, age 88 of North Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 3:00 PM June 12, 2021 at Welcome Home Baptist Church with Rev. Lyn Lambert and Rev. Jeff Collins officiating. Entombment will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Irene was born September 12, 1932 in Ashe County to William L. and Maude Farmer Roten. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and served on VFW Auxiliary.  She retired from Blue Ridge Shoe Plant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

Irene is survived by her husband, Wayne Miller of North Wilkesboro; a daughter, Linda Church and husband Lee Roy of North Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Nikki Patrick and husband Joe of North Wilkesboro, and Tim Church and wife Lynn of North Wilkesboro; six great grandchildren, Garrett Patrick, Russell Patrick, Brody Patrick, Kaison Patrick, Ashley Dillard and husband Blake, and Kristina Miller; two great-great grandchildren, Greylin Miller and Carter Miller.
