Hubert Rudean Foster

Mr. Hubert Rudean Foster, age 91 of North Wilkesboro, died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022 with Rev. Monty Mathis officiating at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home before the service. 

Mr. Foster was born May 30, 1930 in Wilkes County to Lurazelle Foster.  He loved his family and his grandchildren and loved spending time hunting, trapping and farming.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Evie Gray Foster, and his brother, Don Foster.

Mr. Foster is survived by his son, Ray Anderson and wife Joan of North Wilkesboro; his granddaughter, Miranda Golds and husband Bill of North Wilkesboro; his great-granddaughter, Madilynn Golds of McGrady; and 2 nieces, Diane Minton and Debbie Foster.
