 Mr. Howard “Allen” Golden, age 52 of North Wilkesboro passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Allen was born December 17, 1970, in Wilkes County to Claude Eldon and Barbara Jean Hall Golden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Keith Golden.

He is survived by his wife, Jody Dancy Golden; a sister, Claudia Shepherd of Knoxville, TN and two brothers, Jack Golden of Taylorsville and Tim Shepherd of McGrady. 

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at Second Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro with the Rev. Danny Dillard and Rev. Michael Golden officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the church.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Arlington, VA 22216.
