Mr. Homer Hayes Eller, age 81, of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Wilkes Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Campbell and Rev. Larry Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
Homer was born May 23, 1943, in Wilkes County, to Allie and Zelma Hayes Eller. He retired from Lowe’s in vehicle maintenance and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Homer is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Linda Jenkins Eller of the home; one daughter, Tammy Blevins (Frank) of North Wilkesboro; one son, Dwayne Eller of Millers Creek; one step daughter Tonya Shumate (Johnny) of Hays; one grandchild, Travis Blevins, step grandchild Courtney Roe (Dylan) of Claremont; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Blevins of North Wilkesboro and Henry Blevins of North Wilkesboro; three sisters, Mary Burgess of North Wilkesboro, Sybil Gambill (Joe) of North Wilkesboro and Vanessa Eller of Millers Creek; two brothers, Harvey Eller (Ann) of North Wilkesboro and Roger Eller of North Wilkesboro.
