Harvey Lee Nelson

Mr. Harvey Lee Andrew Nelson, age 69, of Roaring River passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at his home.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wiley Boggs officiating.

Harvey was born July 1, 1955, in Wilkes County to John Junior and Mary Ann Brooks Nelson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Robin Kiger Nelson, two sisters; Judy Nelson Spears and LouAnn Nelson.

He is survived by two step-daughters; Crystal Kiger, April Kiger, sister; Wilma Shoupe (Tony) of Wilkesboro, three brothers; Marvin Nelson (Marla) of Millers Creek, Oliver Nelson of Roaring River, and Jimmy Roger Nelson (Holly) of Purlear.
